Cumberland County Christian School is seeking a Middle and High School Teacher for the 2019/2020 academic school year. The teacher must be able to implement an instructional program that will contribute each student's development as a mature, able, and responsible adult.
Duties:
1. Plan and implement a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of students.
2. Create a classroom environment that is conductive to learning and appropriate to the developmental level of the students.
3. Guide the learning process toward the achievement of curriculum goals and within the content of these goals, establishes clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects with the ability to communicate these objectives effectively to students.
4. Establish high expectations for academic success and classroom behavior.
5. Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media to meet the needs and capabilities of the student or students involved.
6. Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis and provide reports to supervisors and parents.
7. Maintain accurate and complete records as required by law and Division policy.
