Our mission is to increase the yield & productivity of the industry while dramatically reducing the cost of manufacturing.General:APG is looking for an experienced Chemical technical Manager to govern implementation of a steadily growing book of work. Additionally, this role will actively collaborate with Chemical Global Product Management, APG Marketing and Sales Operations to enhance the overall growth of the organization.Key Responsibilities:Provide overall project leadership from initiation through completion, maintaining expected timelines and budget.Strategic technical planning, creation and coordination of project plans, PnLs and SOWs.Ensure timely and quality delivery of all contracted deliverables through coordination of schedules, milestones and deliverables within the APG team.Propel organizational growth by supporting Marketing and Business Development efforts (i.e. proposal development, attendance at client project meetings, proactive identification of opportunities to further engage current clients).Drive the development, implementation, and enhancement of departmental processes and implement best practices to streamline business operations.Define project markers to determine how success will be measured, ensuring client and organizational objectives are achieved.Track project performance to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.Develop a deep understanding of clients’ needs in order to effectively and proactively offer solutions.Serve as a client advocate and primary Point of Contact for assigned accounts, overseeing client communication and expectations throughout project lifecycle.Lead value generation report activities to support client budget planning and project funding approval activities.Qualifications:We are looking for someone who is independently motivated, passionate about driving industry change, and has a willingness to take on new responsibilities as needed to best support the APG team and our clients.A successful candidate must have:Robust leadership, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal English). Proven aptitude to manage projects, resourcefully resolve obstacles, and drive new business. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong working relationships on a cross functional team. Readiness to take results-oriented actions. Advanced time management, organizational and analytical skills. Collaborative mindset with a positive and confident attitude.Education and Experience:A Bachelor or Master’s degree with 10+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in the Chemicalceutical/bioChemical or software technology industry.Logistics:Candidate will work from home and report to the closest regional office as needed. Travel up to 50% within United States, Europe, and Asia should be expected. This position reports directly to Chemical Americas Manager.Position requires understanding of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct and compliance with these standards at all times.
