Job Description:
Position SummaryThis position is for a primarily-backend Java developer working in the Cash Exceptions space. This developer will work on building and expanding our suite of Spring Boot-based microservices and a Spring MVC UI application. The developer must be able to work in a team environment, collaborating with peers, and will be relied upon to collaborate and/or own complex technical problems. Experience in an Agile-based programming environment is highly desired, as the developer will be asked to provide estimates for assigned work. A passion for technology and software development are must-haves.Required Skills- Practical experience in a contemporary Java development environment: Maven dependency management, GIT/Bitbucket source repository, Oracle relational database, Junit + EasyMock/Mockito for unit tests, and Spring Boot microservice runtime- Strong analytical mindset: technical analysis and research, problem-solving skills, and diagnostic ability- Strong communication and collaboration skills: able to interact effectively with various audiences: peers, technology leaders, business leaders, and end-users- Growth-oriented mindset: takes ownership, challenges self, builds new skillsDesired Skills- Experience working in an Agile development methodology- DevOps experience: working in a CI/CD-enabled environment, setting up CI/CD automation- OpenShift or other containerized runtime environment- Unix shell usage- Unix shell scripting- Oracle PL/SQL scripting- Spring Security and/or OAuth2 experience- Spring Cloud suite: Eureka, Zuul, Hystrix, Feign, etcShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week:40Learn more about this roleVacancy caducado!
