Location - Charlotte, NCLong Term ContractW2 RoleWorking on projects supporting the Liquidity Risk team. The team must meet stringent regulatory reporting timelines, and support critical risk and collateral management, as well as Recovery & Resolution objectives. The Critical Capabilities project will significantly reduce processing time, increase speed and flexibility in changing assumptions, create more consistent and understandable daily processing, enhance dynamic scenario forecasting, as well as define governance routines. By completing this project the data will be housed on an approved data platform while still allowing the line of business appropriate secure access to data processing and its results. 8+ years of MS SQL server experience in designing, coding and delivering database applications on multiple MS SQL Server versions (V2014 to V2020)8+ years of experience with SQL Server database design and administration8+ years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server with specific experience supporting encryption technology and encryption key management8+ years experienced in configuring and maintaining the performance of large / critical MS SQL Server database applicationsExperience in writing and debugging complex SQL Stored ProceduresExperience in ETL tools (SSIS, Informatica) and database integration with Oracle, SQL Server, and other databasesKnowledge of multi-threading and messaging workflows is a strong plusMinimum of 3 years of experience using GitHubExperience with Jenkins is preferredExperienced in the use of JIRA And Confluence on a daily basisExcellent troubleshooting and debugging skillsYou can analyze a feature story and design a robust solution for it and create specs for complex business rules and calculationsThe Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), specifically Scrum and Agile methodologyAbility to develop accurate estimates and assist team and project managers with the estimation processAbility to understand business problems and articulate a corresponding solution
