Museum, while providing a safe and secure environment for the Museum’s collections, properties, facilities, visitors and staff together with superior customer service. Current or prior Security and customer service experience is highly preferred but not necessary. Successful candidates will have high attention to detail, strong interpersonal and communication skills, sound judgment and decision-making, as well as the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. The pay rate will be $11.00/hour and both 1st and 2nd shifts are available. A Security Officer may perform a multitude of duties as specified by the Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). The Security Officer will read and become extremely knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP, and will be able to act quickly and efficiently according to such directives.
