The successful candidate will have a well-rounded technical background with previous hands on experience creating, writing, analyzing, testing and tuning system rules related to data loss management and data detection. The candidate will need to understand in depth information security principles, controls, and technical environments/architectures in order to keep pace with the evolving technical and threat landscape. The candidate will need to possess a technical background that enables them to interact with engineers in highly technical discussions and then be able to translate this information to non-technical individuals in oral and written formats. The candidate will participate in projects and initiatives that require team collaboration, consultation to non-technical partners and the ability to conceptualize the impacts one project may have on other initiatives. The candidate will be expected to provide ongoing program feedback, put forth efficiency ideas, assist with program documentation and invest in the mentoring of less experienced staff.Required Qualifications:

5+ years of information security administration experience

3 + years of experience with Symantec DLP (Data Loss Prevention)

2 + years of experience with network security, endpoint security, or security threat vectors

Desired Qualifications:

Advanced Information Security technical skills and solid knowledge and understanding of information security practices and policies

Ability to manage complex issues and develop solutions

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge and understanding of data loss prevention concepts and techniques

Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment

Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Ability to coordinate completion of multiple tasks and meet aggressive time frames

Ability to translate and summarize complex data into understandable, actionable information and recommendations

Knowledge and understanding of technology project management

Ability to think creatively to find innovative solutions to complex analytical questions

Experience using data analysis to identify trends

Experience resolving and working- through escalated and complex issues

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
