Teacher/Care Giver-Under the supervision of the Director, the person selected for this position will work together in providing a Christian environment, planning and conducting a program for a group of children and all activity relating to that program. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Work well with other staff members and take pride in contributions to the team
Prepare weekly lesson plans
Attend and participate in all devotions, staff meetings, training sessions and planning activities
Prepare all materials required to implement the program
Prepare and follow a daily schedule
Do laundry & dishes, empty trash, and clean room daily
Be familiar with and follow licensing rules and regulations
Share pertinent information or concerns about individual children with Director
Conduct ongoing parent contact/arrange conferences (as needed)
Take daily attendance and complete food program paperwork at each meal time
Participate in ongoing assessments of childrens development and progress
Receive required continuing education hours
Maintain a physical environment that meets the goals of the school, is safe and free from health hazards and is attractive
To keep confidential and never discuss any personal, financial, or private information that you may become aware of in the course of your duties and responsibilities
Other duties as assigned by the director
