With over 3000 dedicated employees across the US and India, EASi offers comprehensive and innovative solutions, specializing in energy and utilities, automotive, transportation, medical devices, consumer/industrial products and material handling.We're currently looking for an Electrical Systems Engineer to join our full-time internal technical team.As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for electrical system design, technology feasibility assessments, and form development specifications and proposals for customer projects.This role will interface with various customers, and internal team members.Specific Tasks:
Develop technology concept selection justifications
Interface with client management and product specific engineering staff to align on technology interest
Interface with external partners to align on project technical charter and provide electrical system support of concepts
Collaborate with client engineering staff to align on technology commercialization recommendations
Host technology concept reviews
Provide technology development roadmap recommendations
Summarize technology GAP analysis against feasible product/feature/functions
Technical Must haves:
2 years of recent relevant on the job experience or proven ability to work as an individual contributor
Experience with power electronics design and analysis
Mentor graphics experience
Experience with digital and analog schematic and PCB layout
Demonstrated ownership of overall electrical and or electronic system architecture on at least 2 major programs
Current systems engineering experience including projects that incorporated some or all of the following:
o AC or DC motorso PLC controllerso Embedded Computerso Experience specifying or integrating communications buses such as Ethernet, USB, MODBUS, Wi-Fi or CAN/LIN busNon-Technical must haves:
Excellent written and oral presentation skills
Customer interface responsibility
Microsoft Office and project experience
Experience writing system level specifications
Nice to Haves:
Familiarity with Altium and Or CAD tool sets - review / quotation purposes only
Familiarity with agency/compliance/certification processes (industry can vary)
RFID or other navigation technology experience
Demonstrated experience designing for system reuse and expansion
Experience with RTOS
Experience with safety critical systems
5G network or other telematics experience
