We are looking for friendly, service oriented people who want to be a part of the brewery experience by joining our Front of House Taproom & Restaurant service team in a part-time Taproom Support role. A Taproom Support employee is a friendly, service oriented person that is interested in craft beer and has a unique desire for providing the highest level of guest service. They have the ability to manage many tasks at once while maintaining primary focus on customer experience. You will be expected to have a working knowledge of both beer and food menus and to provide support to Service Staff in the following areas as assigned; guest interaction including beer education, bussing tables, running food, and assisting staff with utility work. Our Taproom Support team is an essential part of the Front of House service team and are instrumental in delivering an authentic Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. experience to our guests through guest interactions and by maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining room, bar, interior, and exterior of the restaurant.
DUTIES
Ensures guests are seated at a clean, properly set table within the shortest amount of time possible.
Offers assistance to guest by clearing away dishes and glassware.
Cleans and reset tables and the bar top once guests have left.
Delivers food to tables and beer to guests.
Checks cleanliness of bus station from the previous shift and notifies manager of any problems.
Stock and maintain clean glassware, silverware, and dishware.
Performs shift change and/or opening or closing duties.
Complete other tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Effective communication skills.
High school level of language, math and reasoning skills.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
A pattern of regular, prompt, dependable attendance required.
Previous restaurant experience is highly desired.
Additional REQUIREMENTS to consider before apply
This position REQUIRES availability to work on weekends and holidays
Preference will be given to candidates with open availability
This part-time position is physically laborious and requires one to be on his/her feet for long periods of time (6 to 8 hour shifts).
Moving large quantities of food and other products with carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other moving equipment. (Bending, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and performing repetitive motions)
Selected candidates must pass a post-offer, pre-employment background check.
You must be at least 21 years of age to work for Sierra Nevada Brewing Co.
Our part-time Taproom Restaurant employees are eligible for enrollment in our 401(k) plan the first of the month following 60 days of employment and are eligible for medical, dental and vision benefits after one year of service!
