Farm Burger is Seeking an Assistant Kitchen Manager
We are fast-casual concept connected to our local farmers and community. Our burgers are made from 100% local grassfed beef, dry aged and ground fresh. Our menu is chef driven, seasonal, and sourced from local farms. Our kitchen managers have personal connections to their farmers and to the food they prepare.
We are looking for candidates to run a fast-paced restaurant with strong leadership skills by keeping others accountable with solid communication and integrity.
Responsibilities:
Hands-on managing a staff of 20 people
Engaging in the training of new staff
Building relationships with local farmers and creating specials showcasing local ingredients
Managing food costs with proper purchasing, recipe/portion-size maintenance, and waste management
Writing and enforcing schedules for proper labor cost control
Adhering to health code protocols and maintaining a well-organized, clean kitchen space
Taking inventory and managing proper par levels
Opening and closing
