Your Montessori School is hiring a part time teaching assistant for our Toddler Community (walking well to 3 years old). Hours are Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM to 1 PM. YMS is a small program and we focus on the personalized care and education of each child. We work with wonderful children and families
YMS is looking for someone who:
is dependable with the ability to multi-task
must love working with very young children and have EXPERIENCE with this age group either in a daycare or school setting
demonstrates positive patience with this age group
has a willingness to learn about the Montessori philosophy or has Montessori training
can easily establish and maintain positive relationships with the children and their caregivers
will maintain an emotionally and physically healthy and safe environment.
must be able to complete a Criminal Background Check
must be able to complete a CPR and 1st Aid course.
YMS is a small Montessori program so having the right fit all around is imperative. We want you to be happy working at YMS and to enjoy working within the parameters of the Montessori Philosophy. Pay is hourly depending on experience.
