PRACTICE DIRECTOR SOUGHT

The Chinese Acupuncture and Herbology Clinic of Asheville, N.C. is seeking a full time Practice Director

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Maintaining oversight and participation in front office processes including appointment scheduling and billing/payments

Managing insurance networks and consult with owner and Director of Business about establishing new insurance networks

Managing and processing all insurance claims and account receivables

Verifying insurance benefits

Communicating with VA regarding the processing of VA patient referrals and claims

ÂMaintaining patient accounts effectively and efficiently with a Customer/Client focus

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Associates degree related to healthcare of business administration

Healthcare industry experience

Skill in financial management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

ÂExcellent math skills: multiplication, division, percentages and fractions

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, web browsers and computer software in general

Ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

ÂProficiency using MacOS X (Apple/Mac)

Detail oriented and committed to accuracy

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Ability to respond to questions in a tactful and professional manner

ÂThis position manages all support staff including the front office and clinical assistants and is responsible for the performance, management and hiring of these employees.

WORK HOURS: Core days and hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8:30 - 5:00

SALARIED POSITION: $36k-$42k (DOE)
