The need for our high security products and technology has never been greater given the global to demand for increasingly sophisticated levels of authentication, traceability and forensic analysis.What we need:A self-starting, ambitious highly seasoned Senior Software Engineer.We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer that is a strong communicator who will lead a project team and work individually to develop existing software products and IT equipment applications. Daily responsibilities can range from production equipment IT fixes to complete redesigns of web pages, stored procedures, application code, API’s hardware interface code, etc.This position provides growth opportunities and room for advancement. Must have a strong desire to progress into a broader role requiring leadership and architectural capabilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead software project teams to create solutions for customer contracts, in-house development projects, and base functionality for the future as stipulated by the company roadmap.
Write software in the MS Visual Studio environment
Engineer SQL database structures as required for contracts and in-house objectives.
Develop software modules according to functional requirement specification documents. Contribute to the development of functional requirement specification documents.
Interact with customers as needed to support system deployment/bug fixes /upgrades.
Liaison with Operations to assess the performance of company software systems, make modifications as needed, and make recommendations for upgrades and/or define future requirements. Also support with reporting and data queries.
Other activities as defined by the Chief Technology Officer.
RequirementsQualifications:
Fluent in Microsoft Visual Studio / .NET Framework
Programing in C#, ASP.Net Core, jQuery, Entity Framework, LINQ
Fluent in Microsoft SQL including large data structure management (>1 billion records)
Strong object-oriented design skills.
Experience with Test Driven Development
Experience with automated testing (Unit, Integration, UI)
Experience with design patterns and programming principles
Knowledge / experience with bootstrap.
Knowledge / experience with dev ops automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
Knowledge/ experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
Knowledge / experience with Git.
Experienced with MS SQL table replication
Relational Database structures
SSRS Report generation
Wireframes and Style sheets
User interface design
Web based application programming including responsive design
iOS and Android mobile device environments a plus
Client / Server Application structure
Hardware and software VPNs
International Firewall requirements
Encryption algorithms
Peripheral device interface software including serial and TCP/IP
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study
Minimum 15 years experience in development of enterprise-wide systems.
Machine control experience a plus, especially within the printing industry
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Microsoft Visual Studio and Sequel Studio Certification a plus
U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident of 5 years
