The Role:Live Nation Entertainment’s Media & Sponsorship Division is seeking a highly motivated and organized Sponsorship Intern who is interested in working within the very heart of the entertainment industry! The NY Sponsorship intern will support the department staff with sponsorship fulfillment, research and new business initiatives. Venues include the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater.Live Nation Media & Sponsorship architects, sells and manages the company’s national corporate sponsorship programs with the world’s most recognizable brands. It is an exciting, fast-paced team that collaborates with all facets of Live Nation’s business including venues, festivals, ticketing, artists, content, media (digital, social, mobile), promotions, and concert production. Fulfillment of integrated sponsorship programs including signage, digital, hospitality and activation

How to research specific sponsorship categories and secure business contacts

How to manage sponsorship inventory at each venue

How to recap success to a client, including gathering photos/video, and track materials for recaps

Seamless concert execution

How to create Sponsorship PowerPoint presentations and design

Sales Staff duties and responsibilities (including Show days)

How to Implement Sponsor promotions

How to coordinate ticket orders & tracking

How to manage sales relationships with Marketing to compile media packages

How to track Sponsor and venue media coverage

Pitching to the Supervisor and Director of Sales at the completion of the internship

Qualifications:

Must be able to receive academic credit from their college or university prior to starting assignment

Must be enrolled in a Bachelor's/Master’s program at an accredited college or university with Junior or Senior standing

Pursuing a degree in Music Industry, Marketing, Entertainment/Sales or related field is preferred

Reliable transportation

Eager to learn and be proactive with new tasks

The ability to conduct yourself in a professional matter always

Evenings, weekends and holidays may be required

This internship is for college credit and runs during the general Summer 2020 semester.
