Growing fiber optic company in Oriskany, NY is seeking a qualified candidate for a Fiber Optic Repair Technician. This position will evaluate incoming fiber optic cable assemblies that need repair. The Repair Technician will work directly for the Production Manager. This is a full-time position, 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday with benefits.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- minimum of a high-school Degree, college degree preferred
- computer experience, especially with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- experience working with fiber optic cables
- self-motivated with a strong drive to succeed
- manual dexterity and the ability to lift 50 lbs
- willingness to learn about new and exciting technologies
