An established engineering and management company is looking to hire a full-time Construction Quality Manager (CQM) for a building envelope project located in Utica, NY. The CQM will serve as an adviser to Project Manager/COTR and to provide assistance in ensuring work is being performed in accordance with the Contract for Construction between the United States Government and Construction Contractor.
The project is expected to start during the month of April 2020 and completed no later than September 2021. The CQM shall work eight (8) hours per day or as dictated by the projects construction schedule for the duration of the Project of which construction is estimated to be three hundred sixty (360) days. Included within that duration is time required to cover project acclimation/ramp-up and project closeout. It is assumed that the CQM will need to work two hundred twenty five (225) days in order to support this project.
Position Requirements:
Education and professional qualifications related to construction, architecture and engineering;
Experience providing similar CQM services for similar projects;
Ability to pass security screening for Government facilities;
Experience with federal construction projects is a plus.
This project is a competitive bid process, with employment based on winning the award of the contract.
