National Fuel is currently seeking a Field Operator for an outstanding career opportunity in our Operations department at our Hebron Field located in Coudersport, PA. As a member of the National Fuel team, you will enjoy an exciting and challenging work environment where top performance is recognized and rewarded.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have a proven track record of good attendance, and committed to work place safety. The typical work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM 4:00 PM and could include some overtime. Must be able to work a rotation shift schedule from November 1 through April 1, including weekends and holidays. Candidates must possess a valid drivers license with a clean driving record and the ability to drive a small company truck or van. Applicants must live within a 20 mile radius of the Hebron Field Office located at 896 State Route 44 North Coudersport, PA 16915 or be willing to relocate.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Repairs and maintenance of gas well equipment and pipeline systems
Operation and maintenance of storage wells, including recording pressures, flows, valve inspections, and removing line blockages.
Gas leakage surveys on all storage and transmission lines
Assist with well service rigs and construction crews
Investigate all 811 line locates and complete stand-by functions when needed
Operate gas dehydration system and natural gas line heaters
Document all necessary operating records
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license
Demonstrated mechanical ability
Excellent customer service/communication skills
Basic literacy is required. Ability to read, legibly prepare written documentation and have the ability to accurately interpret and analyze written information
Basic computer skills needed
The physical capability to work outdoors in all types of weather and the ability to work in and around hazards and difficult to reach areas
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in plumbing, mechanical troubleshooting and gas well tending is preferred

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This is a position within the Companys collective bargaining unit with an hourly rate of pay of $19.86.
