Samaritan Hospital, Troy NYRN-Adult Psych 12 hr TRACK (Weekend) Day shift positionWe are a 30 bed Inpatient Adult Psych unit caring for the stabilization of acute symptoms of the psychiatrically impaired population. During the course of admission, we address acute psychiatric intervention and facilitate discharge planning to facilitate safe transitions to the next level of care or return to the community. The patients we serve frequently have comorbid medical and/or substance use illnesses.We are supported by an interdisciplinary team comprised of psychiatrists, NPP, clinicians, nurses and patient care technicians. We also work collaboratively with a covering Medical Group and all specialties are available to us by consult .Our positions require dedication to the population we serve, organizational skills, ability to prioritize, computer skills, communication and planning, delivery of skill building modules by all disciplines, and genuine desire to help the population.Requirements:
Current NYS RN license
Minimum of one years' experience.
