Gypsum Express Ltd., a growing, nationally ranked, premier flatbed and van carrier with 14 locations east of the Mississippi, is looking for a Night Dispatcher in our Baldwinsville, NY Corporate Office. Successful candidate must be highly motivated, technology oriented and have excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills.
As a Night Dispatcher, you will oversee the dispatch set forth during the day.
Responsibilities include:
Monitoring driver messages
Tracks loads, notifies customers of late deliveries, and communicates to driver managers and customer service personnel
Dispatches local drivers
Providing all details and supports for regional drivers
Files electronic manifests for border crossings
Assists in building next days dispatch
Handles urgent situations in a timely and a professional manner
Data Entry
Assists with payroll
Yard Checks
Qualifications:
Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills required
Possess strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of team is a must
