Heavy Equipment Operator (Central, NY)

Provide daily operation and maintenance of machinery involved in the construction of a project in an efficient and safe manner. Types of equipment include backhoe, skid steer, excavator, wheel loader, bulldozer, and side boom. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Must have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate to customers, clients, and other employees. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. OQ qualified in applicable tasks. Must have valid driver's license, CDL license preferred. Must be willing to travel. High School diploma or GED; one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
