A premier construction company is looking for a Payroll Administrator part time/full time located in Syracuse, NY. The company needs an administrator who can process payroll effectively and efficiently. The candidate must be able to communicate requested payroll information to employees, general contractors and various stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

Prior experience in payroll; including knowledge of Federal, State wages, tax regulations and guidelines, certified payroll, and prevailing wage.

Proficient in computer skills including Excel.

Excellent communication skills both oral and written.

Ability to work in a calm, professional manner.

Ability to work as a team player with department heads and senior management.

Ability to organize complex tasks and meet deadlines.

Maintaining payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.

Manage employee deductions and other liabilities.

Ability to manage priorities and work well under pressure.

Perform weekly payroll activities; ensuring team members are paid appropriately. Review and audit payroll reports for payroll accuracy.

Experience with Foundation Brand Payroll Processing is a plus, but not required.

Experience in Quick-Books is a plus.

Must be able to support other departments as needed.
