Full-time Director of Development is responsible for managing requirements for grants, government funding, and contracts with managed care and other health care entities as well as developing new programs and seeking opportunities for agency growth.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Manages projects under development for the agency including new programs, grant proposals, and other community projects where the agency may be involved as a collaborator or a lead entity.
Represents the agency as a liaison to new programs and projects with community partners, attending planning meetings, workgroups, and other events.
In collaboration with quality assurance and IT departments, designs strategies to report data back to these community partnerships when required and organizes project management structures to enable to agency to meet its obligations under new programs.
Coordinates as a lead on project management for new programs and services.
Coordinates the submission and development of new proposals consistent with the agencys mission and values.
Coordinates with CFO and finance department the creation of budgets for new programs or new development of existing programs.
Participates on the leadership team and in strategy meetings with executive leadership regarding program development and opportunities.
Performs other related duties as requested.
Job Requirements
Bachelors degree in human service or related field required.
Experience with project management, reporting to funding sources, data management, working as part of an administrative team, program development, and grant writing in a human service setting preferred.
Advanced degree in human services, MBA or MPA preferred in lieu of Bachelors degree in human services or related fields.
