Daily work will be lab-based and requires the employee to be hands on and comfortable with new experimentation. Familiarity with operating furnaces is preferable, and the ability to learn how to use various types of equipment is a must. This position requires the ability to adapt to changes in priorities and focus areas as projects evolve. All objectives and deliverables for the role will be established with the supervisor. Writing technical reports, presenting experimental work at project team meetings, and contributing to intellectual property is expected.Day to Day Responsibilities: Carry out all work in a safe manner and use required PPE Work with scientists to plan and carry out required experiments to advance progress against project objectives Actively participate in data analysis and make conclusions Provide inputs and documents ideas and contributions in Invention Disclosures and Technical Reports Function as a collaborative team member on specified projectsTravel requirements: None to minimalHours of work/work schedule/flex-time: 40 hours per week / M-F / flex-time.
