Description: The Global Sustainment Project Manager will lead a highly skilled Logistics and Sustainment team for the VH-92 Presidential Helicopter Program within Lockheed Martin-Sikorsky Line of Business (LOB). The manager will be the Global Sustainment interface to the VH Program Management Office (PMO) and Internal/External Customers for all sustainment elements. The manager will provide leadership to the VH Logistics and Sustainment team to meet all contractual and technical commitments made to the programs while ensuring teams track and work cohesively with the Owego and Stratford Logistics and Sustainment team.The manager will serve as the Control Account Manager (CAM) for various VH Logistics and Sustainment Control Accounts utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) System Metrics, technical and staffing risks, cost, schedule, performance, baseline in documents, and key Technical Performance Measures (TPM). The manager will also provide timely and accurate projections of resource requirements. Work closely with first line functional leaders to identify and secure appropriate staffing.The manager leverages proven processes, lessons learned, and best practices from other parts of business or industry. In concert with the LOB and/or Market Segment Leadership, ensures program plans and technical baselines are consistent with Program Control processes and Global Sustainment Practices. Leads Global Sustainment capture teams to shape, create, estimate, and propose new business as it relates to the program. The position reports directly to the Marine Corp Systems and Maritime & Mission Systems (MCS/MMS) Market Segment Manager.Specific position responsibilities include: Works with PMO and MCS/MMS Market Segment Manager to ensure GRID is up to date. Meet all assigned earned value cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives Manage Estimate At Completion (EAC) give-back financial metrics Develop and implement performance metrics to drive quality of assigned deliverables Lead proposal activities Plan/manage direct labor resource allocation within a functional matrix organization construct Lead cross-functional team to secure all required Engineering source data to meet objectives Formal presentations to internal and external audiences including senior leadershipBasic Qualifications: Minimum of BA/BS Degree or Equivalent Work Experience Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority. Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management Solid understanding of Sustainment Elements and the interrelationships and interdependencies Experience in Earned Value Management System Risk & Opportunity Management Excellent communication and presentation skills U.S. citizen that holds or is qualified to obtain a Secret level U.S. Government security clearance Ability to Travel Domestically and InternationallyDesired Skills: Full Spectrum Leadership External and End User customer relationship building Highly motivated, self-starter with superior leadership and interpersonal skills Ability to effectively lead a diverse team of employees across functions Knowledge in Sustainment elements /skills in logistics management database environment Strong understanding of Configuration Management Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, AccessBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:job.QualificationsLockheed Martin is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
