Looking for a hard-working, reliable cleaner to work 5 days/week, M-F. Afternoon shift from 3:30 to 8:30 (most days are earlier). Serious inquiries only. Occasional weekend day. Must work well with a small team. Attention to detail a must. Applicant must be able to maneuver under and around equipment to clean and lift 30+ lbs., and work in an environment with animal blood, fat, meat, etc. Some tasks include:
Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, or scrubbing them according to plant established guidelines.
Gather and empty trash and cardboard
Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
Clean windows, glass partitions, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
Clean and sanitize walls, floors, machines, and equipment.
Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to equipment, floors and fixtures.
Notify manager concerning the need for equipment repairs.
Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
Complete daily task sheet.
