Pension ImplementationÂAnalystÂ
Responsibilities
Working closely with colleagues, the Pension Implementation Analyst plays a key role in the configuration, development, and deployment of the Web Pension Estimator Tool used by our client employees. You will participate in both implementation and maintenance activities of this tool. ÂYou will work with the Consultant to ensure that the self-service web solution in place reflects clients defined benefit plan & legislation. ÂKey responsibilities include:
Understand client plan documents
Define and document Business Requirements & System Specifications of clients proposed solution
Execute configuration of the system through parameters
Develop and review test plans and expected results
Test system functionality and document results
Develop, review and maintain technical/user documentation
Work closely with colleagues to apply solution that will enhance implementation procedures and increase quality of the proposed solution
Train users on the applications
Attend, participate and contribute to team meeting
Work with users to provide system support and troubleshoot system problems on complex issues
Act as the system resource person for Participant Administration teams and/or the client
Work closely with the Project Manager/Consultant on communicating project progress and delivery
Train and support offshore resources in India
Experience
2+ years working with Defined Benefit pension plans
Facility to handle and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to commit to deadlines and deliver on a timely manner
Capability to take ownership and be accountable for assigned tasks
Excel working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented project team environment
Demonstrate high problem solving and analytical skills
Detail oriented
Able to synthesize and bring understanding to large quantities of information
Excellent oral and written communication skills to share concepts and information to teammates and clients
Client satisfaction focus along with team-oriented work style
High ethical standards
Enjoy system analysis/implementation/documentation/testing/programming
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access
Knowledge of SQL, VB, C# an asset
Education
Post secondary education, bachelors degree in Actuarial Studies, Information Systems or Computer Science is preferred
Industry specific certifications
