OVERVIEW OF ROLE: The Integration Project Manager will lead the complex integration development of disparate systems to drive the team to timely and successful releases. The PM should be able to leverage implementation and integration project delivery expertise in the broadcast media industry. The successful candidate will require an in-depth project management knowledge, with a focus on agile methodology. In addition to excelling in scope and time management, the ability to successfully implement new product features for multiple systems are essential to this position. The candidate will have experience managing the scrum team and meeting key dates/milestones for timely delivery of a product and/or features. The ideal candidate is a strong leader capable of collaborating with development teams, scrum teams, vendors, product management and business unit organizations.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage system integration sprints for timely delivery of releases.
  • Monitor ongoing performance of various integration sprints identify issues, troubleshoot, and escalate as needed.
  • Escalate and document the risks and issues to program manager and program leadership team.
  • Be flexible to switch between various workstreams as needed by the program demand.
  • The PM will help increase communication and coordination across several delivery streams which are driving the iterative design, development, testing, vendor configurations and customizations, systems integration testing, and organizational impact/change management.
  • The PM’s mission is to align the Delivery Team, to enable them to achieve their independent and sometimes co-dependent objectives, whilst also serving as a point of escalation for competing priorities, resources demands, and timeline dependencies and release alignment.
  • This requires strong leadership and communication skills; conflict resolution, negotiation, and persuasive skills and the ability to interact with business stakeholders proactively.
  • Lead by example encouraging individual ownership, cross team/function collaboration, transparency, and trust.
  • Drive and facilitate the communication of the release schedules, details, dependencies, and status to the Program stakeholders.
  • Institute PM best practices and deliverables and define Scrum processes (i.e. Sprint and Release Planning, Daily Scrums, Scrum of Scums, etc.) to be implemented
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and resource planning across the integration workstreams and along with the full scope of the overall program.
  • Provide daily and tactical project support by leading Scrum “ceremonies” and facilitating discussions, decision-making and conflict resolution.
  • Drive the grooming of the product backlog based on the scope defined and support the prioritization with input from business stakeholders.
  • Report on KPIs and analysis of achievements, issues and lessons learned.
  • Support project management standard tools to meet project requirements, track status and store/share project artifacts.
  • Responsible for team communication and sharing project documents in MS Teams.
  • Report on status and key project metrics. Track issues, risks, and decisions appropriately in standard tools, including Jira and/or Service Now.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Work Experience6+ years of IT Project Management experience

Knowledge and Skills
  • Experience implementing a complex integrated system
  • Ability to drive multiple Sprint teams to deliver at speed
  • Proven ability to work on tight deadlines and deliver quality results
  • Strong insight to details and documenting/providing options to clients/business users and management
  • Good understanding of Rights Management system and Media background is desirable
  • Ability to independently pursue solutions by tracking down unknown/missing information
  • Ability to balance conflicting and changing demands through prioritization and a pragmatic approach
  • Demonstrate strong management skills including project management, change management and facilitation
  • Knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience with JIRA Boards for SCRUM & Kanban

Education
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in technology, business management, or media/arts.
  • Certification in a related project management process (PMP, Scrum etc.) preferred.
