ROLE SUMMARYThe Senior Manager of Oncology Market Access leverages analytics to provide strategic guidance and insights to senior leadership in Payer Channel Access (PCA) and the Oncology BU to support optimal market access strategies with US payers.This role will provide support for both the Oncology biosimilar and Oncology branded portfolios.ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide guidance & recommendations to senior leadership regarding emerging trends & opportunities to improve Pfizer Oncology performance with US payers.
Utilize advanced modeling techniques to help develop and execute market access strategies to support PCA and Oncology BU stakeholders.
Leverage various data assets to generate payer insights, including predictive analytics, to support the Oncology business unit.
Oversee & manage customized access tracking across Oncology portfolio.
Provide routine reporting on payer-level performance for Oncology portfolio, including key metrics on contracted products, to support various cross-functional stakeholders.
Maintain multiple Oncology performance tracking dashboards.
Oversee & lead continuous improvement efforts with third-party data vendors related to US payers & Oncology portfolio.
Serve as a liaison with Oncology stakeholders in the Customer Analytics & Insights (CAI) organization & Strategic Access Solutions (SAS) COE to ensure alignment between various Oncology support functions.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS"Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact."
Bachelor of Arts degree
7+ years of pharma or healthcare consulting experience
Demonstrated ability to apply analytic tools to deliver insight to senior leadership
Experience successfully guiding large projects spanning multiple stakeholders in a matrixed environment
Deep understanding of managed markets, third-party data, and Oncology market.
Excellent consulting skills, ability to influence without authority
Ability to independently prioritize/manage multiple projects simultaneously
Detail orientation
Skilled in Tableau, Business Objects, Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
MBA or Master's level education
Previous experience in managed markets analytics or a job function supporting the promotion of Oncology pharmaceuticals
