Develop and maintain an effective organization through the selection, training, compensation and motivation of all sales associates. Provide guidance and direction to field sales to assist them in their personal and professional development. Provide orientation and guidance to new field sales associates to ensure consistency in presentation and ability throughout the assigned region.

Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Build and maintain strategic relationships with all key customers through regular participation in continuing education events, regional trade shows, visits to universities, rep co-travel, customer visits, etc.

Develop strategies for market share growth and new customers acquisition leveraging established KOLs.

Understand and maintain a high competency level relating to technical product information.

Direct and administer product promotions to promote sales and maintain favorable relations with customers.

Provide support and intelligence to the Marketing department relating to competitive information, promotional success/opportunities, product line extensions.

Collect, analyze and report competitive information to the sales and marketing organizations.

Comply and enforce all corporate policies.

Prepare reports including Monthly reports, Expense reports, Periodic general reports, Other reports as assigned. Provide Problem Solving/RCCM strategies for any shortfall in various territories

Ensure usage of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) within the region and amongst the team.

Assess and manage sales funnels, opportunities, projections, and planning to drive regional forecast accuracy.

Manage Discounting, Samples, Donations, Expenses budgets and provide feedback on monthly basis.

Conduct annual talent reviews and build robust development plans for all subordinates

Will display and operate in a way that never compromises ethics and integrity, and will be non-political in all dealings with agendas that are above board and understood by all; energy

Experience living and working in region.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly supervises 5 to 10 employees.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

At least 5 years related experience and/or training; and equivalent combination of education and experience.

5-10 years experience independently managing teams

Solid organizational skills; Able to handle multiple tasks/projects simultaneously

Strong problem-solving skills, ability to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment, strong desire to learn
