Acts as a trusted, strategic business partner to leaders at all levels on all human resources related issues. Has experience developing, coordinating and supporting the implementation of human resources programs that support the strategy, goals and objectives of the organization.25% - Talent Engagement

Thought partner to leaders on organizational structuring, succession planning, and all talent needs

Support, manage and advise to successful resolution any employee concerns (including investigations)

Develop strategy for and lead chat groups, climate surveys and other engagement activities

Deliver individual coaching to leaders and employees; advise on development opportunities and potential actions

25% - Talent Development

Facilitate educational activities to include one-on-one coaching, development opportunities, and stand-up class-room facilitation

Manage and execute talent development and educational initiatives for location in coordination with Centers of Excellence partners

20% - Talent Acquisition

Lead and manage all efforts to recruit, hire and onboard employees within area of responsibility; partner with recruiters through all phases of the process and serve as point of contact for candidates to ensure exceptional experience

Lead College recruitment and internal search efforts for client group

15% - Cycle of Performance

Drive all performance management initiatives, including goal development, annual and mid-year employee performance appraisals and review process. Manage and facilitate the review board discussion and process twice annually.

Responsible for working with clients to build impactful, long-term succession plans.

15% - Various HR Projects/Miscellaneous Responsibilities

Partner with employees and HR partners to assist in resolution of employee issues

Partner with Compensation on benchmarking and career pathing

Identify trends in employment data; propose ideas and tactics for successful remediation

Manage contingent workforce and immigration for areas of responsibility

Direct Reports: HR Specialist, Office CoordinatorExperience and SkillsMust have :

Proven critical thinking and analytical skills to diagnose and propose solutions; highly curious

Proven ability to manage multiple clients, priorities, deadlines, and initiatives

Previous strong relationships/partnerships with internal client groups and operate with a high level of customer service

Working knowledge of state and federal laws to include EEOC, AAP, OSHA, FMLA, ADA and FLSA

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills including strong facilitation skills

Minimum 5+ years progressive HR Business Partner experience

Minimum 3+ years successful HR Manager experience

Previous experience with a large, nonexempt and exempt population in a corporate environment

Demonstrated experience in recruitment; leader of diverse talent searches at all levels

Demonstrated success/strength in the area of employee relations, to include managing workplace investigations

Bachelors degree

Prefer :

Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications and HR Systems; ability to prepare written reports, analysis and presentations to senior leadership as required

Experience executing benefits administration

Understanding of compensation principles and HRIS practices

Experience with a geographically dispersed team

Some international experience

Retail industry experience with strong talent acquisition and employee relations experience

Masters Degree in a related field

PHR certification
