United States of AmericaJob ID: 202004-110216Download PDFApply For This JobReturn to Search ResultsThe PositionEsbriet Clinical Coordinator (CC)The primary accountability of the CC is to partner with patients who have opted to elect CC education, to increase their knowledge and understanding of the assigned GNE brand(s); their benefits and use as these pertain to the relevant therapeutic area/disease state and approved indication(s). The CC provides patients, caregivers, and the community with information and resources to empower and encourage discussions with HCPs and active participation in health care decisions. The CC is available to provide support and education to patients and caregivers throughout prescription and treatment continuation. The CC is not the patient’s medical professional and must not be involved in care decisions or providing medical advice. The patient should always be referred to his/her provider for medical advice. The CC acts with the highest integrity, understanding compliance context, and good decision making, adhering to the relevant policy.Example Duties & Responsibilities

Educate patients, caregivers, IPF community-related groups (support groups, pulmonary rehab groups), and specialty pharmacies about (no specific patient information is to be shared with any of the above-mentioned parties, aside from the patients themselves):

Disease state

On-label product information

Provide adherence and persistence education and support

Patient education sessions will be 1:1interactions in a non-HCP office setting

Provide patient-level Genentech/Access Solutions reimbursement and access support services directly to the patient.

Collaborate with ecosystem partners, providing in-services to inform appropriate prescribers and staff on Genentech patient education service offerings per brand guidance/policy

Provide disease state or branded product education to prescribers or staff upon request.

Communicate financial support services offered by GNE Access Solutions

Communicate patient-specific access issues and trends to territory partners (no specific patient information is to be shared)

Attend and participate to support local advocacy events, including providing education (branded and unbranded) and access support services

Strategize with territory partners to determine educational opportunities and priorities for patients, prescribers, support staff, SPs, and advocacy organizations

Collaborate with internal partners to build and execute commercial territory management strategies

You are a candidate with the following qualifications and experience

Strong organizational and time management skills

Strong collaboration skills to effectively partner with a diverse team

Ability to adapt to change and lead through ambiguity

Excellent presentation skills

Empathetic listening skills

Previous patient-facing commercial/clinical experience in the same therapeutic area is a plus (RN, BSN or RT, BSN required)

Previous 3-5 years of account management skills or patient education industry experience preferred

English fluency required, and Spanish fluency preferred
