Our investment strategies include an integrated platform of hedge funds, separately managed accounts and sub-advised mutual funds in long-only/long short strategies and structured products with a focus on credit instruments.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Render domestic and global macroeconomic research and analysis, providing a top-down view to augment and support the investment team's bottom -up fundamental analysis across all asset classes, including bank loans, hi yield bonds, convertibles and equities.

Identify and provide views on catalysts and events in various markets globally, including rates, currencies, and commodities

Analyze and opine on potential governmental policy and legislative changes domestically.

Dialogue actively with sell-side economists and strategists

QUALIFICATIONS:

2-5 years of experience in analyzing macroeconomics or global rates/currency markets at an investment bank

Degree in macroeconomics (advanced degree preferred)

Strong analytical and financial modeling skills

Strong communication and writing skills; ability to explain complex macroeconomic concepts clearly and succinctly

Strong interest and knowledge in public policy and national politics

Desire to augment macro skillset with bottom-up fundamental credit analysis over time

Self-starter who is detail-oriented and can multi-task effectively

Good interpersonal skills who values teamwork and can get a long with others
