PMO LEAD Program Manager w/ Operational Excellence and Process Automation experience (#171209) Term: Contract-to-Hire (must be our W2 employee/no C2C) Target Start Date: ASAP Rate: $52.40/hour plus benefits Location: New York, NY - remote until further notice, but must be local to NYC Background Check: Selected candidate must successfully pass a thorough background check The Process Automation and Operational Excellence Team is responsible for helping to simplify, improve and streamline GBAM Operations through process redesign, the implementation of automation protocols and helping to drive the adoption of a continuous improvement culture across the organization The team is also responsible for overseeing the strategy and the implementation of Operational Excellence tools and principles necessary to create a culture of sustainable continuous improvement that benefits our employees and clients. The PMO Lead will partner with the Program Executive, SLT, Process Automation Operations, Technology, Risk and Change Leads and other stakeholders across the enterprise to ensure efficient and effective program execution and reporting / communication. Core Responsibilities include:

  • Partner with program Executive and SLT to ensure progress towards long-term goals.
  • Manage Executive and Program Reporting throughout program/project lifecycle to ensure transparency as well as timely and effective communication to key stakeholders related to program performance (Status, Progress, ROI, Risks, issues) across the full portfolio of initiatives.
  • Organize programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization; enhance the quality of existing programs; Develop new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
  • Develop, implement and maintain an evaluation method to assess program strengths; identify areas for improvement and track execution progress
  • Understand how different projects interlink and overlap, identify risks, issues and dependencies and partner with teams across the enterprise to drive decisions, remove obstacles and ensure positive outcomes
  • Effectively communicate with managers, peers and business partners on deliverables, timelines and support needed. Partner with the business to develop and transition plans, including ongoing success measures, to sustain the change
  • Coordinate and facilitate/participate in workgroup meetings, as well as ad hoc project meetings; document and distribute agendas and minutes; Track and manage follow-ups through to completion
  • Be actively involved in the execution of project activities and assist with other project and program routines as determined throughout the project lifecycle
  • Liaise with the marketing and communications team to support the marketing strategy and help increase awareness of programs
Required Skills 7+ years of program management experience, particularly engaging with Executive level stakeholders Experience working on large scale, complex initiatives Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines Relationship Management - Ability to build relationships and interact with Technology, Change Management, Business and external (3rd party) partners Deep knowledge of the project delivery lifecycle Ability to work with and across multiple levels of the organization, prioritize work and meet deadlines Ability to manage a project or phases of a project in a fast-paced, matrixed environment with strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong written and verbal communications skills Ability to facilitate meetings, capture key outcomes / actions and own project / process documentation Exceptional analytical skills with ability to comprehend, document, evaluate and improve complex business processes Self-motivation, self-direction, organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities without sacrificing quality or timelines Effectively deals with ambiguity and adapts to changing circumstances Proficiencies in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Enterprise change policy & standards experience Desired Skills Project management certification (e.g. PMI, Six Sigma) or equivalent experience Experience in implementing or supporting automation related projects systems Experience using Tableau and other data analytic and visualization tools
