As Strategic Marketing Manager you will be focused on supporting sales and revenue growth for key strategic campaigns across our Consumer Pharma and CPG categories. Your role will be primarily focused on optimizing custom strategic campaigns for high-value clients. Additional responsibilities include tracking the status of all live deals, presenting results to internal and external stakeholders, training internal teams and competitive analyses. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential to develop solutions and work closely with sales team and clients to articulate their value. Pharmaceutical advertising or marketing experience and understanding of the digital landscape are a must. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for supporting all strategic deals on consumer pharma and CPG business.
  • Collaborate with all key stakeholders to understand client strategy, configure campaign to address strategy and meet goals, optimize as necessary to drive towards goal, measure campaign and position interim and final results. The role will include client and agency contact and presentations as necessary.
  • Individual must develop robust understanding of brand strategy, explicit and implicit campaign goals, products as well as optimization and measurement strategies to effectively manage campaigns and maximize odds of renewal.
  • Manage creation of quarterly review presentation for consumer performance deals for executive leadership
  • Ensure that all stakeholders are aware of and have input into strategic deals as early as possible in the process in order to more effectively configure campaigns and improve operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a first point of contact and help process invoices related to syndicated measurement
  • Collaborate with various internal teams on an on-going basis and support other business needs as necessary
Required Skills Key stakeholders include sales, business intelligence, client solutions, program marketing, account management, advertising operations, and marketing sciences.
  • 5+ years marketing/sales development experience with 3+ years in online publishing / advertising
  • Consumer pharmaceutical industry (DTC) experience preferred – pharma company, vendor, agency, consulting
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive and self-sufficient with the ability to juggle several project and priorities on a regular basis while working independently, strategically and creatively.
  • Strong problem-solving & analytical skills
  • Successful track record of thought-partnership, team work and leadership driving business growth
  • Client-facing experience preferred.
Required Education Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience – a Masters is a plus.
