We help steward the firm?s relationship with the media, clients, shareholders, policy makers, and the broader public, while ensuring that our own people remain informed about the firm?s evolving priorities. We also partner with the businesses to source high-impact opportunities in line with the firm?s diverse businesses and sustainability agendas.Position SummaryThis generalist role will support the day-to-day operations and strategic goals of the group, helping to bring to life content and brand storytelling that builds awareness of the Brookfield brand who we are, what the firm does, and how that contributes on a global scale. The role will entail coordinating and managing brand marketing initiatives, administrative functions, and special projects. This role is for someone who can take initiative in a generalist role and will work closely with members of the global team on a variety of Communications & Branding initiatives, and offers an excellent opportunity for career development and growth in a highly dynamic and evolving work environment.This position is best suited for those candidates who thrive in a culture that emphasizes employee leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and accountability for delivering results. You will help with the continued evolution of the firm?s voice ? which is consistent with the its corporate narrative, and which also aligns with the company?s other communications and marketing campaigns and strategies.The role requires creativity, energy, dynamism, and a positive attitude combined with diligence and vigilance. The successful candidate will be an excellent writer and editor, highly organized and detail oriented, with strong time management, leadership, and collaboration skills.Responsibilities

Digital platforms: Help manage and execute a content strategy for brookfield.com, (including corporate announcements, enterprise case studies, business stories, and design and technology needs) to tell the story of Brookfield across industries and strategies.

Content distribution: Support execution of digital brand strategy through various (social and digital) channels

Suggest, draft, and coordinate global social media posts on corporate channels to ensure consistent voice, including on LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.

Provide quality assurance, including prooing, to ensure consistent corporate messaging of all deliverables

Field brand questions, escalating when necessary

Assist with creating an internal communications content plan for new global firmwide intranet

Support content curation and employee engagement approaches

Production and content support: Provide support in the production of video and other digital media. This may include working with leadership on stories, videos, and announcements, as well as employer brand work, both on Brookfield?s owned channels and other platforms.

Brand initiatives: Support brand-building projects in collaboration with our design team across different internal groups, including HR/Recruiting and investment teams.

Partners and processes: Help manage relationships with a variety of external partners, and coordinate across internal teams, to ensure brand and creative projects stay on time, budget, and aligned with business goals.

Project management: Manage and coordinate an editorial calendar and key projects with other members across the marketing, communications, and investor relations functions.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelors? degree in marketing, communications, media, or related field

3-5 years? experience with business communications, operations and/or marketing experience required

Collaborate extensively with colleagues in all levels and locations of the business to deliver effectively

Generate accurate work-product based on criteria of tasks assigned

Exhibit flexibility to adapt work and priorities to changing scenarios

Ability to self-direct, prioritize and work independently with minimal supervisions as well as to collaborate extensively with team members and across functions to achieve deliverables

Proven aptitude to prioritize and maintain high quality of work and detail to meet tight deadlines. Ability to work on multiple project plans simultaneously

Excellent interpersonal and superior oral/written communication skills

Strategic, forward thinker who can anticipate requests. Takes initiative beyond the established scope of responsibilities

Ability to manage third-party vendors to ensure project and operational timelines are met

Superior desktop publishing and computer skills. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) required.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft SharePoint and/or CMS systems preferred
