Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A Sales Solution Engineer in this role will daily present the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to our partners, prospects, customers and internally supporting our SMB Sales Team. You participate in the design, validation, and presentation of Oracle Cloud solutions based on customer needs. Previous experience as Oracle Software, Cloud technology or Technical Pre-Sales is preferred, with the ability to lead technical discussions and identify the right solution for our customer s needs.As a Principal Enterprise Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for:

Providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers, while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision, through online sales efforts in a sales cycle.

Acting as a technical mentor to less experienced Sales Consultants, Sales Development and Sales Representatives.

Developing and delivering high quality Oracle presentations and demonstrations.

Presenting and articulating advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions.

Designing, validating, and presenting Database & Oracle Cloud solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.

Developing and managing references through high quality technical, professional client relationships.

Excellent communication skills are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable in Computer Science or Technology related degree.

Technical experience with Oracle Cloud Solutions or other Cloud Providers.

5 years of experience in Oracle Solutions including building, developing and deploying Applications and Platforms to the Public Cloud

Proven ability in performing rapid assessments of clients internal technology landscape and targeting use cases and deployment targets for Public Cloud technology. Ability to provide guidance in the evaluation of Oracle s Cloud.

An understanding of application development/deployment concepts and tools that enable successful Cloud transformation and organizational acceptance.

Enthusiasm, energy and ability to evangelize the cloud platform

Experience in a customer-facing, role such as consultant, technical solutions engineer or solutions architect

Core hands on foundational skills based on middleware, integration and database development with On-premises or Cloud solutions
