WFMS is nationally recognized for its ingenuity and reputation as a leader in the Electronic Payments industry.Wells Fargo Merchant Services is searching for highly highly-motivated professional leader that can be based in the following metro areas: New York City, NY; Melville, NY; North Brunswick, NJ; Newark, New Jersey; Philadelphia, PA; Winston Salem, NC; Charlotte, North Carolina; Jacksonville, Florida; Boston, MA; McLean, VA. Other locations will be considered on a case by case basis.Primary responsibilities include developing and managing a team of account professionals responsible for servicing, retaining and cross-selling of bank and merchant products to existing customers in the large corporate and specialized industry segments. Includes coaching team on sales, pricing, profitability, contract structure, risk management and market intelligence. Partner with other Bank Relationship Management teams and executives, including Treasury Management, Operations Manager, Finance Manager, Commercial Banking and sales teams, and the head of Merchant Services to ensure that attrition from the portfolio is minimized and that portfolio goals for financial growth are met. The position will also work with product management and Card network representatives to ensure customer product solution needs and processing efficiencies are optimized to reduce the cost of card acceptance.You will have responsibility for our customers in the Commercial Banking Segment, primarily on the East Coast and parts of the Mid-West.Ability to travel up to 40% required.As a Team Member Manager, you are expected to achieve success by leading yourself, your team, and the business. Specifically you will: Lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them. Accomplish management responsibilities which include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing daily management tasksRequired Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: sales, business development, payment processing industry or treasury management

Desired Qualifications:

Management experience for management level direct reports

Extensive knowledge and understanding of treasury management, payment processing industry or bank operations

Business development, sales/treasury management, or products/services sales experience

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

3+ years of merchant/payments processing experience

5+ years of supervisory or management experience

5+ years of account relationship development and management experience

Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
