DescriptionAccountemps currently has a short-term temporary-to-full-time opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their dynamic, innovative team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Prepare monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Complete other projects as required
Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Achieve compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures and controls by working with business partners
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Requirements
SEC reporting and SOX compliance is a plus
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are highly desired
Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing, with functional department managers
Highly organized, attentive, has a sense of urgency, flexible and able to deal with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
Efficient in ERP systems
Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
Demonstrated ability in strong analytical, quantitative and social skills
5+ years of overall general accounting experience
Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
Previous experience in financial reporting
Comprehensive knowledge of NetSuite
Outstanding skills in analyzing financial data and promptly generating accurate reports
Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
