Sales & Retention ExecutiveWork location: New Hampshire.Responsible for both selling and renewing group business (51-99) in Local Group markets where the territory is too small to justify use of both a Sales Account Executive (new sales) and an Account Manager (renewal). New sales goals would typically be less than 60% of a normal Sales Account Executive and the renewal book of business would typically be less than 60% of a normal Account Manager. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Acquires new large group accounts through brokers and/or directly to customers.

Prospects accounts and produces revenue through new and renewal sales.

Generates lead activity and makes sales calls.

Develops strategies and utilizes selling techniques to acquire new business.

Develops and executes retention strategies.

Identifies opportunities for penetration sales.

Manages the renewal process and ensures that accounts receive excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Requires a BA/BS; 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Experience developing broker and/or customer relationships and strong managed care knowledge and negotiation skills required.

Sales License required.

Travel may be required.

Direct selling or other sales experience preferred.

Experience in Managed healthcare, Broker, or consulting in health Insurance strongly preferred.
