Company.Business Improvement Consultant Sr Work Location – Must be

able to report to an Anthem office dailyThe Program Integrity

division focuses on ensuring accurate financial claims processing, and reducing

admin costs to bring the best value to the health care program. The

Product and Efficiencies Support team focuses on combining optimized processes

with best in class technology to bring the most value to Program Integrity.The Business

Improvement Consultant Sr. serves as a Process Improvement focused person

on the Product & Efficiencies Team within the Program Integrity organization. This position with be a part of the Product

Team, but will be more focused on ways to improve the process while building

the software to improve it.As the internal, enterprise-wide consulting arm of the organization's

strategic leadership, this role is responsible for establishing relationships

with functional teams across the organization and handling complex, high

priority business questions / issues including assisting in building new client

relationships. This position is also responsible for relationship management

and technical guidance and direction for multiple complex medical record

projects. Responsibilities:Primary duties may include, but are not limited

to: ·

Provide Lean Six Sigma understanding

and consulting support in ways to build a process that is streamlined and has

little to no waste based on the Lean principles.·

Be able to create a current state

map, future state map. Be able to create a user journey map or other similar

process documentation to help communicate with various stakeholders on the

process changes.·

Provide process guidance to

multiple IT teams, including vendors and stakeholders including Operations

Experts to help with Training and adoption.·

Build process maps,

training documents, communication presentations to aid in change management and

business adoption of a new process.·

Leads business case development from

problem definition, cost estimation, value analysis, project justification and

financial analysis through the stage gate process·

Leads and implements a wide variety of business

improvement initiatives to enhance effectiveness and profitability of the

organization. ·

Collaborates partners with regional process

improvement initiatives such as Six Sigma and TQM, to leverage common

initiatives, eliminate duplication and ensure alignment with our business

improvement and innovation value across the enterprise. ·

Supports the growth of our medical

records retrieval programs through consultative management of a portfolio of

solutions and provider relationships to include:o

Managing relationships with vendors

to support provider adoption and issue resolution. o

Demonstrating application

functionality to provider organizations and addressing any concerns or

objectionso

Advocating provider groups’ needs to

ensure product strategy is aligned with needs as input into the product

roadmaps. o

Providing application

troubleshooting assistance and end user supporto

Establishing relationships with functional teams,

provider groups, and other groups as needed.Requirements:·

Requires a BA/BS in a related field; 5 to 7 years in

management consulting role, business development, large scale project

management.·

Previous

experience as a project manager and a pre-sales engineer both leading teams and

helping close sales deals with strong objection handling skills·

Exceptional communication

and facilitation skills with demonstrated ability to establish

cross-organizational relationships that translate into engagements and a track

record of establishing and developing adopted practices that improve

communications, results measurement, and the engagement management process. ·

Coaching and

mentoring project analysts where necessary, handles significant ROI

contributions as a leader on numerous concurrent projects; or any combination

of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. ·

Requires Lean,

Six Sigma Belt (Green, Yellow, Black, or Master Black) or equivalent training

or consultant experience that is equivalent. ·

Experience in

Kaizen, DMAIC, HoQ, VoC, VoB, any of the Lean or Six Sigma techniquesPreferred:·

Healthcare

industry experience a plus. ·

Experience in

process change projects with large scale IT rollout.·

MBA ·

Experience in Value Stream Maps and how they align with the

Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) model for large Release Trains to deliver value

to the business within a single workstream.·

Experience in product management, product ownership, or

product deliveryAnthem, Inc.
