serves as a subject matter expert with the Efficiencies and Product Support
Team within the Program Integrity organization. The Program Integrity Division
focuses on ensuring accurate financial claims processing, and reducing admin
costs to bring the best value to the health care program. The Efficiencies and Product Support team
focuses on combining optimized processes with best in class technology to bring
the most value to Program Integrity.
This all results in a lower health care cost and higher value to the
member.The Financial
Operations Business Analyst Consultant works with all levels within the Program
Integrity Business to provide product management services and coordinate with
the IT delivery teams to implement solutions. The Fin Ops BA Consultant is
expected to analyze existing and potential workflows, processes, supporting
systems and procedures as well as identify improvements and opportunities for
standardization. This position should also be able to consider newer
technologies and their applicability. This
position has a strong understanding of systems and enterprise wide strategic
focus. Primary duties
may include, but are not limited to:
Researches financial operations workflow problems and
system irregularities.
Develops, tests, and presents process improvement
solutions for new systems, accounts and workflow improvements.
Ensures new and current processes are in alignment
with standardization focus of organization.
Ensures that there are standard procedures across
business units.
Performs complex data and systems analysis and makes
recommendations based on the results.
Leads various committees or work groups to develop,
implement, modify and document new or revised financial operations
processes, procedures, systems and tracking mechanisms.
Collaborates with business owners to provide business
and technical expertise in requirements solicitation, system analysis, trouble
shooting and documentation of business applications and systems.
Represents Financial Operations organization on
strategic projects and initiatives.
Represents organization in meetings by documenting and
communicating information to production teams.
Creates, develops, documents and implements process
improvements with an enterprise wide focus.
Counsels and influences other departments to ensure
positive outcomes for the Financial Operations department.
Provides oversight and resolves complex issues,
resolves problems and provides timely follow up on identified issues.

management team and helps shape positive outcomes within the department.
Uses discretion in making independent decisions.
Qualifications Qualifications
Requires
a BA/BS degree
8+
years’ experience in business analysis, systems analysis, accounting or finance
Prior
experience working with automated financial systems and/or data systems
Project
management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which
would provide an equivalent background.
Strong
analytical skills, high attention to detail, and proven ability to be an
innovative problem solver.
Experience
in Program Integrity is preferred.
Experience
in Agile or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is a plus. Or Experience in Product Management or
Product Ownership skills are a plus.
Experience
in Business Process redesign (six sigma is a plus).
Strong
organizational skills and ability to work both independently and in teams.
Effective
and compelling communication skills required for partnership with senior
leadership as well as staff in lower level jobs.
Industry
or applicable professional designation preferred.
