We are an acute care facility with 25 beds, providing a wide range of medical, surgical, and pediatric care.SUMMARYThe overall purpose for this position is to provide support, advocacy, outreach, and education to primarily engage pregnant and postpartum women enrolled in St. Lawrence Health System's M-WRAP program with their recovery from opioid use disorder. The Certified Recovery Peer Advocate will work as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team and in conjunction with the patient will develop a patient centered Recovery Plan to help initiate and sustain an individual in their recovery from substance use or addiction.STATUS: Full TimeLOCATION: Massena HospitalDEPARTMENT: Substance AbuseSCHEDULE: 8 hour shiftsATTRIBUTES
