Pet Care Assistant Needed!
This position is very unique please read what will be required before submitting a resume.
We're a private overnight boarding/doggie day care business.
We're in search for someone who not only loves spending time caring for dogs but is professional, reliable, honest, and would be truly loving to all our guest dogs.
The hours for this position may not be ideal for all applicants.

We're looking for a part time/per diem assistant.
There will be split shift/hours needed on certain days during the week/weekend (yes we work 7 days a week)
But you would not be asked to work 7 days. Your days would be 1-5 days a week, depending on our need for an assistant each week.
Example of a day you may be needed- (this would be the maximum hours needed on a busy day)
8:00am-10:00am 1:00pm-3:00pm 5:00pm-7:00pm 10:00pm - 12:00am
Hours will vary and change as needed so flexibility is a must.
Also we're located in Sayville so if you have to come back and fourth you should be a local resident to make it easier on travel time
Job description-
-watching and overseeing doggie playtime
-feeding dogs
-playtime with the dogs
-cleaning up #2's after the dogs do their business
-keeping all outdoor dog areas clean
-photographing the dogs as they play
-keeping the interior clean as needed in the dog areas
-possible additional grounds maintenance
-be friendly and professional with all the dogs owners
Some important things to note before applying for this position
It's important that you're strong and able to care for large dogs in a busy doggie day care setting.
Big dogs and even the little pups can play very rough
Being ok to work outside in the hot summer months and cold winter months, including rain, snow, etc.
You must also be friendly and able to communicate well with our clients who use our services.
As we've stated we are in search for an assistant but there is a lot more then just watching the dogs play to this position. Job would also include grounds maintenance, indoor cleaning and maintenance, etc, or anything we may require assistants with to help us maintain a high level of care to all our guest dog
Finally -
Must be at least 18 years old
Non smoker
You must speak english
Agree to a back ground check
Have multiple references
