A product of MFA programs in writing and film at Columbia and NYU, and formerly a much-published poet and short story writer, I’m looking for serious, hard-working, pleasant team players to share the load of analyzing the structure (plot points, act structure, order of scenes and sequences) of Academy Award-winning screenplays.
Must be reliable and willing to do fair share of the work—carefully reading scripts and the best screenwriting books, then creating lists of scenes, sequences and plot points.
Analyzing the structure of these generally well-structured scripts helps elevate our command of structure in our own scripts.

P.S. Regarding hours, this is very part-time (unless you want to work more hours). The emphasis is on thoroughness and quality, not speed and quantity. This is not really an internship, but I didn’t know where else to run it. (Activity pals is mostly sex ads!)
