The ideal candidate will be responsible for appropriately evaluating the cost of an automotive repair especially damage from collisions. The candidate will be familiar with competitively pricing auto repairs and will be able to communicate with customers and technicians to complete the repair.
Responsibilities:
Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages in the industry.
Resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
Obtain accurate quotes for parts and materials to establish accurate cost estimates.
Communicate with customers before, during and after the repair.
Communicate with technicians during repairs.
Estimating.
Qualifications:
General working knowledge of automobiles and their different components.
Experience as a technician, parts sales and/or estimating is preferred.
Able to use computers and learn to use new programs efficiently.
Good Communication Skills.
Candidates with New York State Independent adjusters license are preferred
