Lifeguards needed to work various shifts at the YMCA of Ithaca. Applicants should be at least 16 years old, responsible, and must have reliable transportation. Applicants must hold current American Red Cross or similar Lifeguarding and CPR for the Professional Rescuer/Lifeguard Certifications, or be willing to be recertified. Fulfilling employment for those who enjoy building relationships with regular Y members and community patrons. Regularly scheduled monthly lifeguarding in-services help review skills and boost performance. Opportunities for lifeguards to learn how to teach swim lessons is also an option.
