Small independent construction contractor wanted ASAP, for ongoing residential renovation on various properties in Dutchess County:
- Experienced in dealing with Small Construction Jobs, as well as individual exterior/interior repairs.
- Experienced in working with Building/Zoning to obtain/expedite building permits, coordinate inspections and approvals.
- Ability to perform/supervise all work, including: light plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, framing, sheetrock and painting and all facets of construction related to single family/multi family homes.
- Also handle small repairs in a prompt, cost effective way.
- Good communication ability with residents and co workers.
- Assist in preparing scope of work for renovation projects, including cost estimates and managing an on time completion schedule, while meeting cost objectives.
- On going work for the right independent contractor fit.
- Available to start ASAP in January.
- Prefer to be local to Dutchess County area for interaction with Team Members and to be able to respond to Emergency situations since most properties are located in the Hyde Park, Poughkeepsie and Wappingers area.
- Must have flexibility in covering calls for Weekend/Night hours at arranged times.
