This position is best suited to the individual with experience in a loan processing position. Candidates should enjoy customer service duties and sales. The ideal candidate will have a talent for evaluating applications and have a personable attitude.
Responsibilities Include:
Help client choose the most appropriate mortgage
Gather all important data from client (assets, debts etc.)
Verify information and references by contacting the right sources
Correct mistakes and investigate inconsistencies
Submit completed loan files for appraisal
Act as point of contact between loan officers, underwriters and clients
Conduct a final review of the file before closing
Requirements:
Proven experience as a loan processor
Understanding of loan and processing procedures
Knowledge of best practices
Proficient in computer software
Outstanding communication and customer service skills
Excellent attention to detail
Well-organized and able to handle pressure
General Math skills
High school diploma; college preferred
