Req Number 002P8KJob DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYAssesses, plans, implements and documents individual and group activities geared towards facilitating the rehabilitation of patient disorders.RESPONSIBILITIES1.Plans and implements individual and group activities geared to facilitatethe rehabilitation of patient disorders.2. Provides group members with the opportunity to engage in activities, whichpromote socialized behaviors.3. Provides documentation and feedback on patient participation in the activitiesprogram and participates in case conferences with other staff members.4. May coordinate activities on individual inpatient floors.5. Assesses program needs and prepares orders for supplies. Maintainsinventory of program supplies to ensure availability on demand.6. Continually evaluates guidelines to maintains consistency and achieveoptimal performance. Advises supervisor of recommended changes.7. Performs related duties, as required.QualificationsREQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Knowledge of Therapeutic Recreation, Rehabilitation, and/or Vocational Training as normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, required.
Minimum of one (1) years related work experience to ensure familiarity with a variety or recreational therapy and/or rehabilitation modalities preferred
