All vacancies are filled pending budget approval.Job Description:Teach up to two sections per semester of Introduction to Sociology, or one of our other sociology offerings, as needed to meet the needs of students in the department.Requirements:III: SOCIOLOGYALL Sociology Courses require:Master's degree in Sociology, OR Master's degree in Anthropology or Social Work with at least 6 graduate credits in Sociology or with 3 peer-reviewed sociological presentations or publications, ORMaster's degree in a related field (for example, Gender and Women's Studies, or American Studies) with 3 peer-reviewed sociological presentations or publications.Additional requirements for specific courses:SOC 209 Race, Class, and EthnicityAt least 6 graduate credits in the areas of race, class, and ethnicity OR3 peer-reviewed sociological research publications or presentations on race, class, and ethnicity.SOC 210 CriminologyAt least 6 graduate credits in Criminology OR3 peer-reviewed criminology research publications or presentations.SOC 212 Social ProblemsAt least 6 graduate sociology credits in areas related to social problems OR3 peer-reviewed sociological research presentations or publications on social problems.SOC 220 Sociology of the FamilyAt least 6 graduate sociology credits in the area of family OR3 peer-reviewed sociological research presentations or publications on family.SOC 222 Sociology of GenderAt least 6 graduate sociology credits in the area of gender and sexuality OR3 peer-reviewed sociological research presentations or publications on gender and sexuality.SOC 225 Sociology of Health CareAt least 6 graduate sociology credits in the area of health OR3 peer-reviewed sociological research presentations or publications on health care.Application Instructions:If you are interested in applying for this position, please create an NCC Employment Account by clicking on the APPLY NOW button.
